Change of use from Fish Processing Plant approved in PA 3271/09 into a Food Innovation Hub - mainly consisting in the processing of food and cooking - Class 5A. The hub will be mainly concentrated at first floor level which will be split into four distinct and separate processing and cooking areas. Additionally, the proposal includes common ancillary facilities consisting in two Offices Class 4A, one Storage Areas Class 6A, one Lecture Room Class 2C, sanitary facilities and four Changing rooms. The proposed works include the shifting of internal doors and walls, extension of one lift shaft up to second floor level and the construction of an external fire escape corridor and staircase. At second floor level, the proposal includes the erection of lightweight cold-rooms and construction of ancillary spaces including one Class 4A Office. The existing parapet wall at second floor level will be increased in height for safety reasons. The proposal also includes the placement of LPG gas tanks at ground floor level.
